Tiphaine Barthelemy

Professor of Social Anthopology at University of Picardie (Amiens, France), I’m conducting a research about learned societies and new forms of less academic historical  associations in Picardie. Trying to understand the role they play in heritagisation, it is interesting to see if there are links between types of associations, types of heritage (monumental heritage is much more important than intangible cultural heritage in this aerea, and the question is to know why) and the sociological profile of these associations’ members. With a post-doctorate researcher and master’s student, we are collecting quantitative datas as well as doing ethnographic fieldwork in 3 different places around the cites of Laon and Amiens.
