Presentation of my work:
My research centers on the creation and development of a large-scale exhibition on Roma cultures and professions to be opened in 2023. It is  the first one in the French context to be curated collaboratively with a Roma curator and a commission of Roma (and non-Roma) experts. The aim of my ethnographic fieldwork on the making of this exhibition corresponds to examining the appropriation of the exhibition’s overall content, choice of objects and modes of display by the involved curatorial members, and the way in which they engage with and intervene in seemingly fixed institutional exhibition-making processes.
