Dear Scholars,

Thanks to those of you who have already submitted their abstracts for the International Conference on Tourism, Ethics and Global Citizenship: Connecting the Dots – we are excited to welcome participants from all over the world! This message is also a final reminder that the abstract submission deadline closes on December 20, 2016! Please submit your abstract asap via ctd2017.hbs@saxion.nl.

The conference aims to strengthen the academic and professional networks that are necessary to push forward the discussions of tourism’s manifold intersections with existing and emergent ethical approaches and forms of citizenship, and to discuss these concepts to apply new insights in our research, policy documents and daily practices. The conference takes place on 3-6 July 2017 in Apeldoorn, the Netherlands and will host keynote presentations by several prominent scholars in the field, including Claudio Minca, Clare Weeden, Raoul Bianchi and Angela Benson.
